Hello!
And welcome to the WE ARE THE TROOPS website. Our mission is to provide support and assistance to soldiers serving in the United States Army who are currently stationed in Iraq. WE ARE THE TROOPS is commited to the cause by sending items such as: bottled water, food, clothing, toiletries, and coverage for medical related expenses.
Army rations sometimes aren't enought to keep our troops properly nurished and hydrated through the brutal Iraqi climate. With the packages we send, the soldiers can carry out their missions without having to worry about dehydration or hunger.
Additionally, we also provide the troops with supplies for an occasional BBQ or home tradition because, lets face it, serving in a war zone can take its toll on a person. It helps improve the soldiers' health and morale while also bringing a sense of normalcy to an otherwise harsh place. This insures that our troops can actually relax when their shift is done.

9/11/2009- Donation Rally
In honor and respect to the people lost in the tragic event that ocured on September 11, 2001, we here at WE ARE THE TROOPS will be giving all the money we earn today to the families of those who have lost loved ones due to the World trade Center attack. We hope that enough people donate to our cause because we will never forget how to help one another.
8/20/2009 - New Website Launch
Since October of 2006 we have been a small but growing organzation with the hopes of expanding to encompass a greater audience. On 8/19/2009, we launched our new website.
